Anyway, this group of students are quite interesting. They are pretty polite -- imagine walking into the classroom, before you say anything, they happily greet you with "hello, teacher".. well, it's not likely to happen in my other classes.. They like to sit close to me.. so the front seats are always occupied... well.. this of course won't happen either in my other classes.. However, sometimes, they have some strange behaviors that really puzzle me... they like to play each other's hair.. pulling each other's gray hair and also.. the strangest one: "pulling my gray hair"..
that's right.. pulling my gray hair..
They did that when I was listening to other students practicing dialogues.. and they were fast.. fast as lightning.. I didn't feel anything and the next thing I realized was they had my gray hair in their hand... When I looked at them, they gave me a very shiny smile, waving at me with my hair.. Gosh.. what could I say to them??? :( I don't know I should feel angry or what.. :* Just, speechless, I suppose.
Last week, I finally had a chance to ask them.. why did you like to play each other's hair? And their answer also surprised me (shocked me?) .. "It's very comfortable when another plays our hair."
Well, it's quite an experience, isn't it? :)
